Basketball today

I haven't falled completley fallen off the wagon but I haven't ran since I last said I did. I did play some full court basketball during lunch. I played about 4 games. I got a pretty good workout.

Here is my plan for the rest of the week. Please follow up with me.

1. Run 3 miles tomorrow morning.
2. run 2 miles Saturday.
3. Jump rope jumping jacks on Sunday.
4. Also do push ups and crunches every day starting tomorrow.

Currently at 202 lbs. I need to get back under 200 soon. Then my next milestone will be 190lbs.

See ya later.

  1. Man, it's been forever since I've played b-ball and I was really good at it. Old knee injuries sidelined me, but I'm on the road to repairing them and dropping this weight. Stay active, motivated and keep focused on your goal of 190. As you are doing your exercises, remember that your nutrition is 85% of the weight loss.

Do you have a certain bodyfat % you are looking to acheive or just the weight goal?

  2. Big, thanks for the comment. I'm not sure what bodyfat % to strive for. My ultimate goal is 180lbs. Regarding my nutrition, It hasn't been the best latley. I don't have a guide or anything right now to follow. I have cut out soda and have been drinking more water. But haven't made any other big changes. Please give me your thoughts.

  3. I'm not really following the P90X nutrition plan this time around.. but I think I have a sample days menu on my blog. I try to eat 3 meals and 2-3 snacks. For me, I'm trying to keep my caloric intake down below 2500.. and I'm trying to make sure I get in plenty protein and vegetables. I don't do soda or much junk food either. My only vice is wings. I have an ocassional glass of Pinot Noir wine or Mich Ultra beer.

In a nutshell, I don't want to do a really strict diet for 90 days and then go back to normal eating. I want to do a reasonable diet that I can do from the start and continue on it for the long haul. It is all supposed to be a lifestyle change, so keep that in mind!

  4. Sounds like a good idea to stick to a nutrition plan that will last. I'm not sure what my calorie intake should be at this time. But I'm trying to stick to 3 meals and 2 snacks as well. But I haven't been so disciplined, especially since we just had our brand new baby boy. My schedule is out of whack.
