hood to coast

I have been training for the hood to coast race this year. It's only 9 days away.. I'm nervous but looking forward to it.

I played some basketball at the gym tonight. I also jumped rope.

I did at least 5 sets of 80 jump rope reps.

I'm beat.

3/02/2012

Today I ran 1.64 miles same route as yesterday. I did it in 15:53 minutes.

I also did 5 sets of:

80 jump rope reps
30 jumping jacks.

Decided today I'm going to see how many days I can go straight with workout.

First workout of March 2012

Today I did the following

5 sets of 80 jump rope reps, 30 jacks, 5 push ups. Then ran 1.64 miles outside in 16:30 minutes. I stopped twice and walked for 30 seconds.

I ran outside in Corona California. I'm out here visiting my parents.

I weighed myself i was 213. YIKES.

Man I'm really want to see a lower number on the scale. but it's not going to happen in just a few days. I have to eat well and keep on excercising.

jump rope, jacks, squats

Today I did the following for my workout

5 sets of:

80 jumps
30 jacks

4 sets of:

10 body weight squats

1 set of:

10 squat jumps:

after that, I ran a mile in 10:30. Still trying to reach the 10 minute mile pace.

back in the game

I have gotten out of shape in the last 2 years. I'm slowly working my way back. I started a new weight loss challenge at work. I'm over 200lbs right now. I will get below 200lbs.

I have worked out a few times this month. But I'm starting today with logging my first workout.

Today I just ran 2 miles in 21:40 min. I first warmed up with some light jump roping.

next month I will be playing 12 hours of basketball to raise money for a hospital in Cambodia. I'm hoping to drop some weight before that and get into better shape.
