Day 7 pain, cake, sweat

Day 7 of workouts. I'm feeling sore and tired!

Last night I did 8 sets of 80 jump rope reps.

640 jumps total.

I also did 4 sets of 10:

Shoulder press
Flys
Upright rows
Curls

Also I went to a Christmas party with snacks and a bunch of good stuff.

I ate pretty well for most of the day.

But at the dinner things went downhill.

I had chicken wings, one slice of cake and a slice of pizza. Mac and cheese and some deviled eggs.

But I still got my workout in. Back to eating clean. No sweets not a lot of carbs is what I want to do.

I'm hoping to lose weight by tomorrow. But I don't think I will be below 224. I guess I will find out tomorrow.

These workouts better payoff!!!!!

Day 5/6 jump rope and dumbbells

Yesterday I missed my workout. I wasn't too happy about. So today I did:

16 sets of 80 jumps

4 sets of 10:

Shoulder press
Upright row
Flys
Curls

My diet was pretty good today.

I'm pretty wiped out. It was a good workout. I'm sweating like a pig!!

Day 4 - more pain. :)

Just finished 8 sets of 80 jump rope reps.

Let's see if I can remember what I ate today.

Coffee with cream
Bacon Gouda egg sandwich from Starbucks
Ground turkey and bean burrito - dinner
More turkey and beans no tortilla
1 slice of bread with peanut butter
A few glasses of water.
4 slices of pizza - lunch

Glad day 4 is done. Tomorrow is day 5 with dumbbell excercises. Also my diet will be more strict.

Day 3 - bad diet!! Hard workout

Today is day 3 I just finished 8 sets of 80 jumps. Today was a bit painful. Also while the workout I had a headache.

Today's diet wasn't that great. This is what I had.

2 eggs (cooked over easy)
2 cups of coffee with cream
Chicken taco salad. One chicken tender
A couple of pieces of chocolate caramel candy
2 slices of pizza ( sausage and pepperoni)

I had 5 glasses of water.

But I got my workout in. My shoulders we're in pain. Oh well no pain no gain is what they say.

67 more days of jump roping.

Jump rope challenge day 2

Hello to whom it may concern.

I just did

8 sets of 80 jump rope reps:

Shoulder press
Flys
Curls

I'm feeling tired but I'm feeling good. Earlier today I was looking forward to this workout. Just have to take it one day at a time. I weighed in today at 224.2.

I won't weight myself again till Friday the
22nd.

Also I will post a video once a week. It will be on Fridays as well.

Looking forward to this 10 week challenge of jump roping. It's good to have something to shoot for. I will be doing the dumbbell workout 3 times a week.

Military diet is over! A new challenge is on!

I finished the military diet. Today I weighed 223.2 lbs. That's  a loss of 5.2 lbs in 2 weeks!! I'll take it!!

Now today I decided to not just stop there.

Today is day 1 of the 10 week Jump rope challenge. That's 10 weeks of jumping every day.

I will do 4 to 8 sets of 80 jumps/reps.

Military diet day 3

Today is day three. Just about to drink coffee. It just finished brewing. This diet is hard! It's funny how your body and mind  adapt. I really want some of that black coffee.

Military Diet Day 1

Today I decided to start he military diet. I have done it before earlier in the year. Basically the diet is a low calorie diet that is to be followed for 3 days.

Today this is what I ate.

Breakfast
1 wheat toast with peanut butter
Black coffee

Lunch
1 wheat toast with a can of tuna
Black coffee

Dinner

1 banana
2 ground turkey Patty's
1 small apple
2 cups of vanilla ice cream

I was only supposed to have about 3 oz of meat but I probably had 8.

The diet was hard but not unbearable. Worst part was drinking black coffee. It was just so bitter!!

I'm hoping this will kickstart a drop in lbs.

Also I did a dumbbell workout

Up right row
Flys
Curls

I will weigh in tomorrow morning and then again on Friday morning.

I weighed in at 229.7 yesterday.

I'm not really feeling motivated.

But I made a deal with a Friend. If I lose 1 lbs by Friday. He has to watch a full episode of Golden Girls. Haha!!!

Dec 1st, 2017 - im enjoying the holidays

I'm trying to get back on track. In April of this year I was weighing 245. Then I got down to 205 on September 1st. Now I'm back to 228.4!!!

Just worked out. Felt like it's been months.

Just did

1 set of 31 sec plank.
4 sets of 10:

Flys

I'm pretty exhausted!!! Let's see how I feel tomorrow.

Marriage retreat 2017

I have been married for 13 years. Today we are at a marriage retreat in la Jolla San Diego area. I have learned that no matter how long we have been married we can always learn. Also as individuals we are going to change. So without consistent communication you can lose touch of what you thought your spouse was like. So far it's been very encouraging and great to get quality time with my wife. The kids are back home. 😀

Life is too short to stay bitter. Let it go and forgive.

Feeling chubby

So on September 1 of this yesterday I weighed 205. Today I weigh 220. Gained 15 lbs in about 67 days. I'm not surprised. I started eating more junk food like fast food and working out less and eating .ore sweets. Halloween!!! And it doesn't help that my kids got a bunch of good candy this year. Very unmotivated right now. Gotta get back on track.

A new day...

Let me share what's been going on since Jan of this year.

In April I joined a weight loss competition. We had 5 guys including myself. I started out at 245!!! First weigh in was end of April. We weighed in at the end of June. I came it To 211.

I won!!!

I'm back again...

Hello there. I'm back, let's see for how long this time. :) I'm in need for an overhaul. I haven't ran consistently or worked out much. At the beginning of Jan 2017 I was weighing 238lbs!! Today I was about 235. Today I did 16 push-ups and about 5 minute of jumproped for about 5 minutes. #backtothegrind, #dontstop, #itsnottoolate CW
